SYRACUSE -- Popular celtic punk band Flogging Molly will make its first-ever visit to Syracuse next month. They're on the schedule for "Dysfunctional Family BBQ 6," hosted by K-Rock (WKRL/WKRH/WKLL) on May 27 at the New York State Fairgrounds.
Flogging Molly will be joined by Hurt, The Dirty Heads, 12 Stones, The Dreaming and Weaving the Fate. K-Rock program director Nixon said, "we are really excited by the diversity of this year’s lineup," in a press release issued today.
Tickets go on sale this Saturday. The station says discounted "early bird" tickets will be available at a number of local sponsor locations for $14. Once they're gone, regular price tickets will be $20.
On concert day -- the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend -- gates at the Fairgrounds will open at 11:00am and the music begins at noon.
More details are posted on the K-Rock website.
