SYRACUSE -- One week ago tonight, Syracuse University got fans pumped-up for the upcoming college basketball season with its annual "Orange Madness" pep rally in the Carrier Dome. Thanks to one CNYRadio.com reader, we've got a floor-level look at part of the festivities.
That's the "Voice of the Orange," Matt Park, at the far left, addressing the crowd, as members of the Syracuse University men's basketball crowd gather at the opposite side of the photo. Mark Mangicaro explains he took this shot with his smartphone, so while it's a bit blurry, you can still make out a TK99 (WTKW) logo in the ribbon along the top of the photo. TK99 is the flagship station of the Syracuse University sports radio network.
