SYRACUSE -- Fox 68 (WSYT) and My 43 (WNYS) have a full-time opening for a Master Control Operator at the stations' facility on James Street. Among other duties, the MCO will be required to monitor transmitters, receive programming from various sources and handle live switching of both stations.

WSYT/WNYS TV is seeking a full-time Master Control Operator for our state of the art HD master control room.
This detail oriented person monitors transmitters and maintains the logs, records, checks for quality and prepares various formats of broadcast media for air. You will also be switching the air for both stations. Other responsibilities as assigned.
Prior Master Control experience preferred. Windows Computer literacy, self-motivation and excellent attendance are essential. Experience with Satellite receivers, broadcast automation a plus. Must have great attention to detail and ability to multi-task. The ability to work well independently as well as with others. Must be able to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.
