SYRACUSE -- Tickets go on sale this Saturday for Krockathon 18, which will be held on July 27 at the New York State Fairgrounds. Chevelle, Sevendust and All That Remains are just three of the 11 bands who were announced by K-Rock (WKRL/WKRH/WKLL) today, and the stations promise "more" to be announced prior to the concert date.
Here's the complete list of performers announced today:
When ticket sales begin on Saturday, a limited number of "Early Bird" tickets will offer a discount over the regular ticket price.
Early Bird tickets will be available for $30 at krockathon.com and at a select list of local sponsor locations, mostly located around Syracuse and Utica, with a few locations in Oswego County, and a couple as far as Seneca Falls and Binghamton. Once the supply of Early Bird tickets is exhausted, the price jumps to $42. Regular price tickets will be available at a much larger list of area retailers, expanding the footprint as far north as Watertown.
Although the "Early Bird" tickets are the same price as last year, this year's regular price is a few dollars less than last year's $48.50 ticket.
A special "Crash Pad" package offered by the Holiday Inn Express on Winchell Road offers fans two tickets to the KRockathon, round-trip transportation and breakfast the following morning for $209.
