SYRACUSE — CNY Central, the combination of NBC3 (WSTM-TV), CBS5 (WTVH) and CW6 (WSTQ-LP) is searching for its next producer for “Today in Central New York,” the three-hour morning show which airs on NBC3.  We’ve got the details on this and other recent job openings at CNY Central.

SYRACUSE — Time Warner Cable’s 24/7 local news channel, YNN, is looking for an Assignment Editor.  The full-time position was posted November 8.  Here’s a link to the full job description and online application.

UTICA-ROME — It’s been a long time in the works, and the signal has been on-again/off-again several times over the past two years.  Today, some sure signs of progress — management has announced the station’s eventual format, and they’re taking applications for a number of job openings.

SYRACUSE — No word yet on who’s leaving — or perhaps already left — (any tipsters?) but ABC affiliate NewsChannel 9 (WSYR-TV) has an “immediate opening” for a news producer.  The job posting appeared on the station’s website earlier this afternoon.  The posting doesn’t indicate which newscast(s) the future hire will be producing, but states

SYRACUSE — After nearly a decade with Galaxy Communications, production director and on-air personality Ted Bilodeau won’t be returning to the company’s Walton Street headquarters for work on Monday.  He’s moving east to take a new radio job in his native New Hampshire.

SYRACUSE — NewsChannel 9 (WSYR-TV) didn’t have to look too far away to find a replacement for Leigh Isaacson, who recently departed for a new job in New Orleans. The ABC affiliate has hired Andrew Donovan, who has been working at another “NewsChannel” — specifically, NewsChannel 2 (WKTV), the NBC affiliate in Utica.
