From the “Where Are They Now?” file, Thomas “Jake” Jacobsen has been promoted to Operations Manager of Regent’s Albany cluster.  Before going to Albany, Jacobsen had programmed WFRG in Utica and WFRY in Watertown.

B104.7 (WBBS/Fulton-Syracuse) and Froggy 97 (WFRY/Watertown) have received nominations for Academy of Country Music Awards.  B104.7 morning hosts Ron and Becky are in the running for “On Air Personality of the Year – Medium Market.”  Froggy 97 is among the candidates for “Radio Station of the Year – Small Market.”

Self-described “sappy love song hostess” Delilah is trying her hand at something new — according to a newspaper in Washington state, she’s opened a new restaurant in her hometown.  (Maybe a backup option in case the John Tesh Show finally does her in?)

Syracuse native Tom Tradup has a new position at Salem Radio Network (SRN). As director of network programming, he’ll oversee content, direction and strategic planning for all of SRN’s nationally syndicated talk shows and SRN’s network news programming.
