SYRACUSE — Clear Channel country station B104.7 (WBBS) is once again among the nominees for the Country Music Association Awards.  This year, the station is in the running for “CMA Radio Station of the Year” in the Medium Market category.  Syndicated personalities carried by stations in Syracuse, Utica and Ithaca are also nominated.

SYRACUSE — Local stations are once again in the running for the Academy of Country Music Awards. This year, Clear Channel’s B104.7 (WBBS) is up for medium market “Station of the Year.”  Meantime, locally-owned New Country WOLF 105.1’s morning show is nominated for “Broadcast Personality of the Year.”

SYRACUSE — Since we took a break from Picture of the Week last week, it’s only appropriate (and a coincidence that we got two submissions) that we come back strong with a 2-for-1 installment.  This week, New Country WOLF 105.1/96.7 brings its syndicated morning show hosts into town for the 2nd annual Redneck Games.

SYRACUSE — Geographically, they may be closer to Villanova, Pennsylvania, but spiritually, Big D and Bubba were rooting with the 34,616 fans in the Carrier Dome for the Orange to BEAT NOVA last Saturday night.

SYRACUSE — The long-anticipated debut of on-air personalities at New Country WOLF(-FM) 105.1 and 96.7 (WLLF-FM) happens today.  According to an email blast sent out to listeners late last night, the station will begin airing the syndicated “Big D & Bubba” show this morning.
