SYRACUSE — There won’t be any more “Imus in the Morning” on The Score 1260 (WSKO). The sports talk station is revamping its program schedule, effective Monday.  The new lineup reflects its affiliation with the newly-launched CBS Sports Radio network. Part of that lineup includes a sports talk host who started his career in Utica.

UTICA-ROME — Today’s shift of ESPN Radio over to Galaxy Communications stations in Syracuse and Utica-Rome has had another impact on competitors.  Arjuna Broadcasting’s WNRS 1420 shifts to a hybrid format of Fox Sports Radio during the day and Bloomberg Financial Radio in the evening.

Jim Rome is expected to leave his gig at Fox Sports when his contract expires later this year. The New York Post reports that ESPN is in negotiations with the sports commentator in hopes of grabbing him for a new weekly show for the network.
