SYRACUSE -- Although we previously reported on Amanda Hull being named co-anchor of Today in Central New York on NBC3 (WSTM-TV), a new press release from CNY Central shares more details and news of another promotion: reporter Maggie DesRosiers is also moving up to the anchor desk.
SYRACUSE -- There are some notable changes in the newsroom roster at NBC3 (WSTM-TV), part of the CNY Central group of television stations. A reporter / weekend anchor is being promoted to full-time anchor status, and the Assistant News Director has left the building.

SYRACUSE -- Sinclair Broadcast Group, owner of Syracuse's NBC-3 (WSTM), has recently announced job openings for an assignment editor and for a news producer. And, given a recent announcement, it looks like they'll soon be posting for a new morning show co-anchor, as well.
SYRACUSE — Sinclair Broadcast Group's CNY Central is looking for a news video editor. The cluster, consisting of NBC3 (WSTM), CBS 5 (WTVH) and CW6 (WSTM-DT 3.2) sends the following job posting to CNYRadio:

SYRACUSE -- Following the news that husband and wife Niko Tamurian and Farah Jadran are leaving CNYCentral, there's word on at least one replacement. The cluster housing NBC3 (WSTM), CBS5 (WTVH) and CW6 (WSTM-DT 3.2) says Tommy Sladek will take over as Sports Director. There's also more details on where Tamurian is headed next.
