While 570 WSYR and WIXT TV 9 may not be under the same roof, the two Clear Channel broadcast facilities continue integrating their news resources. Leila Walsh recently joined NewsChannel 9 as a reporter; she'll remain a morning co-anchor at WSYR.The two broadcast outlets began sharing resources on election night 2002 when WSYR staff worked out of Channel 9's newsroom. In December, WIXT's meteorologists took over weather duties at WSYR except for those covered by longtime morning forecaster Pat Pagano.
In other staff changes, WSYR welcomes Jeremy Huntley as the station's new overnight news anchor. Huntley had worked previously for Metro Networks.
