After nearly ten years in Syracuse radio, TK-99/105 (WTKW/WTKV) afternoon jock Rick Deyulio has decided that it's time to move on.
"I'm sad to leave," says Deyulio, "but feel that it's time for me to go back to school and get the degree that I never got years ago."He got his start in the biz on overnights at 95X (WAQX), shortly thereafter moved to TK-99/105 where he's been for the past eight years, the last six of those in afternoon drive. He points to interviews with rock legends like Roger Waters, Todd Rundgren, and Graham Nash as some of his favorite memories.
According to Deyulio, who is leaving on the best of terms, "The management has always been good to me, and has given me the chance to evolve into someone I'm very proud to be, and for that, I'm eternally grateful to them."
His last day on the air is this Friday.
