Sunny 102 (WZUN) and the Syracuse Shakespeare Festival are teaming up with thousands of area students to set a Guinness World Record on the air this Friday.
The "Shakespeare Read Along" gets underway at 8:10 with Sunny 102 morning man Big Mike and local author Bruce Coville leading the students through the reading of three Shakespeare monologues.Over 8,000 students are expected to participate remotely from their classrooms.
For those of you playing along at home, dust off your copies of Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet.
In addition to setting a world record, the event will raise money for the Syracuse Shakespeare Festival.
