According to radio-info.com, former local radio news anchor Matt DelSignore has landed an anchor job at the legendary KDKA in Pittsburgh. DelSignore most recently worked for Clear Channel's WGY in Albany. Before that, he worked at sister station WSYR in Syracuse and then-Regent's WTNY in Watertown.
The radio-info article says DelSignore is anchoring KDKA's 2-hour local news block from 5-7pm, as well as top/bottom-of-the-hour reports during a local talk show which follows.
DelSignore is the second WSYR alum in recent memory to move onto the Steel City. Maria Leaf headed to the CBS O&O after her second stint at WSYR, about a year or so ago.
