It appears that Buckley's Classic Hits 92.1 (WSEN) has completed on-air lineup changes, following the exit of former PD/afternoon driver Jim Tate. UPDATED 11/11 with weekend schedule changes.
Tate disappeared from the WSEN lineup last week. CNYRadio.com attempted to reach GM Judy Kelly for confirmation and further comment on Tate's exit, but we did not receive any response.
An observant CNYRadio.com reader notes WSEN's online schedule now shows evening jock John Carucci has been moved to Tate's old afternoon drive timeslot, and evenings have been filled by the syndicated Tom Kent show.
WSEN's "Contact Us" page lists several members of the management team, but there is nobody listed as PD.
Likely as a result of Kent's arrival on the weeknight shift, the "Beatle Years" specialty show has been moved from Tuesday nights to Sunday afternoons. And the Monday night program "Rewind with Gary Bryan" has been moved to Saturday mornings. These changes were accompanied by several other changes to the weekend schedules.
WSEN changed their whole formate, they no longer play oldies. You can still get them on 10.50AM, some of the time. WHAT HAPPENNED?
