CANTON -- North Country Public Radio recently brought home two national Edward R. Murrow Awards from the Radio/TV News Directors Association.
If you're a fan of Scott Fybush's NorthEast Radio Watch, you already know this -- but we somehow missed it when we read Scott's latest edition early Monday morning.
NCPR’s series The Impact of War at Home won in the continuing coverage category and Native Americans in Baseball’s Present and Past won for best sports reporting.
North Country Public Radio has more details in a press release posted on its website.
The network is based at WSLU (89.5 FM) in Canton. NCPR also has full-power coverage in Watertown (WSLJ 88.9 FM) and Boonville (WXLB 91.7 FM), and several other full-power FMs outside of CNYRadio.com territory. There are also more than 20 low-power translators in and out of the CNYRadio.com coverage area.
