SYRACUSE -- While you normally don't think of 93Q (WNTQ) as a Christmas music station, the Cumulus-owned CHR is going all-out for a few hours tomorrow during "Ted and Amy's Christmas Spectacular." The morning co-hosts will emcee four hours of live holiday music, all broadcast live from the Destiny USA shopping mall.
This year's event will have a much different look than in the past -- it'll be staged in "The Canyon," part of the mall's recent expansion which just opened this past summer. (Tip: if you haven't been to Carousel Center Destiny USA in awhile, and don't want to walk far, use one of the parking lots on Solar Street, and the new pedestrian bridge over Hiawatha Boulevard will bring you right into "The Canyon.")
The live concert broadcast will run from 10am to 2pm, and fans can listen on 93Q, or they can watch the show in person.
Here's the rundown, as listed in an email blast 93Q sent out earlier today. All times are approximate and subject to change:
Parking and admission are free. There will also be a variety of different activities for children and families.
