Citadel Emerges from Chapter 11

LAS VEGAS -- Citadel Broadcasting, the owner of more than 200 radio stations including four in Syracuse, has emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.  According to one published report, Citadel Chairman and CEO Farid Suleman said, "we're glad it's over and we can get on with running the company."

WRVO Swaps Environmental Reports

OSWEGO -- The Environment Report which airs weekday mornings on WRVO will be going away soon. "Due to a lack of sustainable funding," the station explains Friday, June 4 will be the final day for the daily reports. However, WRVO's newsroom says it's not completely abandoning environmental issues.
