SYRACUSE -- Six graduates of Onondaga Community College are being honored as the college's latest "alumni faces" today. Among them: Niko Tamurian, CNY Central (WSTM/WTVH/WSTQ-LP) sports anchor and graduate of the OCC Class of 2005.

SYRACUSE -- If you've noticed there's something missing when you tune your radio to 94.5 on the FM dial lately, you're not going crazy. After nearly 30 years as "Y94FM," the Clear Channel adult contemporary station has a new logo and new on-air imaging branding itself simply as "Y94," minus the FM.
SYRACUSE -- There's a new but familiar voice delivering newscasts during morning drive on Sunny 102 (WZUN). News producer Jim Campagna from NewsChannel 9 (WSYR-TV) is filling the vacancy left after former co-worker Keith Kobland left the news business nearly a month ago.
AUBURN -- Cayuga Community College radio station Win 89FM (WDWN) is in the running for two national-level awards. Station members are keeping their fingers crossed for Thursday, October 18, the day winners are revealed for the 2012 CMJ College Radio Awards.
SYRACUSE -- Two former major league sportscasters who got their start at Syracuse University's WAER will be inducted to the station's Hall of Fame when WAER hosts its 65th anniversary celebration dinner tomorrow night. The inductees include Hank Greenwald, class of 1957, and the late Andy Musser, class of 1959.
SYRACUSE -- Nationally-syndicated talk show host Michael Savage will be absent from News Talk 106.9 and 570 WSYR and hundreds of other affiliates across the country until further notice, after the California-based host won a long-running lawsuit with his former syndicator, Talk Radio Network.
