ROCHESTER -- Former WIBX manager Randy Gorbman has a new job in Rochester. After many years as news director at WHAM 1180 in Rochester (which included occasional appearances voicing reports for sister station 570 WSYR in Syracuse), Gorbman has a new job a bit higher up the AM dial.
SYRACUSE -- Less than a week after a crosstown competitor released a song about the Syracuse University men's basketball team, morning hosts Gomez and Dave from TK99/TK105 (WTKW/WTKV) and 96.9 WOUR have their own. UTICA -- A few months since ABC affiliates NewsChannel 9 (WSYR-TV) in Syracuse and WUTR in Utica became reunited under the same corporate umbrella, history appears to be repeating itself: a member of the WSYR-TV team is appearing on newscasts for WUTR and sister station Fox 33 (WFXV) this evening.
