Area choruses gather for holiday CD

Last year's collection of holiday music from area high school choruses was such a big hit that Sunny 102 (WZUN) morning man 'Big Mike' Fiss decided to serve up a second helping.

Big Mike's Christmastime in Syracuse, Volume 10 - Our Schools 2 went on sale this week at all area Wegmans for $6. Proceeds from the sale benefit the local Ronald McDonald House.

Last year's lot of 2,000 CDs sold out in two weeks, so 2,500 were pressed this year.

On that list: community involvement, the station's overall ratings, and their willingness to open up to their listeners about their personal lives.

The Syracuse Post-Standard has more on that and a peek at their recent trip to Nashville.
