Updated 4/16 — CENTRAL NEW YORK — In the hours after the Boston Marathon bombings, we’re learning how some Central New York broadcasters who were in Boston today are faring.  Thankfully, all of the reports are positive.

AURORA, CO — When his shift at Denver’s KUSA-TV ended on Thursday night, Kevin Torres was supposed to be starting a mini-vacation.  Little did he know that he’d soon be back at work, headed to the scene of the movie theater mass shooting which was all over the news on Friday.

SYRACUSE — Rome native Kevin Torres is doing very well at his current job in Denver.  But you don’t have to take his word for it — Torres was recently nominated for three Emmy Awards, and took one home when the Heartland Chapter of NATAS announced winners this past Saturday.
