OSWEGO -- National Public Radio affiliate WRVO announced plans to launch a new locally-produced show co-hosted by Morning Edition host Jason Smith and reporter Jasmyn Belcher. Weekly Edition is set to debut on March 19.

Garrison Keillor, host of NPR's A Prairie Home Companion is recovering following what doctors are calling a "minor stroke" over the weekend. A spokesperson at the Mayo Clinic in Keillor's home state of Minnesota says "he plans to resume a normal schedule next week."

Updated 9/9/09 SYRACUSE -- If you're a fan of "The Funk Show" on Syracuse University's NPR affiliate WAER 88.3, bad news. Last weekend's show was the final show. The hosts say they were notified by management -- via e-mail -- that they're being replaced by NPR network programming.
