ITHACA/CORTLAND -- Stations owned by Saga Communications hold four of the top five spots in the latest public ratings data released by Arbitron. Leading the pack, Q-Country 103.7 (WQNY), posting more than a full-point gain since last spring, going from a 13.8 to a 14.9 among persons age 12+ in the Fall 2009 survey.

Station management has some corrections to information we had been provided and reported earlier. They've also provided us with an official job posting to fill the vacancy.
ITHACA -- From the "better late than never" file, there's a slight change in the ownership of ROI Broadcasting, the owner of standalone CHR-formatted Z95-5 (WFIZ) and translator W299BI.

As if he doesn't get enough media exposure already, Ryan Seacrest may soon get an extra hour of radio airtime over 130 "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" affiliates, including a few here in Central New York.
ITHACA - Z95.5 morning co-host Justin Wright is wrapping up a full week of camping out at a Wegmans supermarket, encouraging the community to fill a truck with food donations. He's been there since Monday, and the food drive ends today.
