SYRACUSE — Congratulations to Ronnie Miller from Y94FM (WYYY)… as announced via a photo on the station’s Facebook Page, he and his wife have a new addition to the family.  Mason was born at 9:18 yesterday morning, weighing in at an ounce over seven pounds.  Grandma Miller reports Mom, Dad and Mason are all doing well.

SYRACUSE — When you visit The Great New York State Fair later this summer (in just 36 days, to be exact), you’ll hear a pair of familiar voices on the public address speakers throughout the fairgrounds.   Longtime 93Q (WNTQ) morning co-hosts Ted Long and Amy Robbins are the fair’s new announcers.

UTICA/ROME — The newest affiliate of the Syracuse-based Mars Hill Network, WMHU (91.1/Cold Brook) is now fully licensed by the FCC.  The “License to Cover” was granted on July 11, but the FCC officially announced the approval today.

SYRACUSE — Certain customers of Time Warner Cable have not been able to view Syracuse’s NewsChannel 9 (WSYR-TV) since late last month. One reader tells us he’s unhappy that the ABC affiliate was removed from his lineup on June 29th. Time Warner Cable tells CNYTVNews.com that the change was requested by WSYR-TV’s owners.
