As part of WSTM TV 3's latest "Best of Central New York" viewer poll, 93Q took away top honors for best radio station. Radio & Records is reporting that Citadel Communications "will no longer allow corporatepersonnel to talk on the record to industry trades or the general press about anyissues involving the company or its stations." The move comes on the heals of Infinity's Farid Suleman taking over leadership of the company. Citadel owns four Syracuse radio stations.
Syndicated morning show host Don Imus holds his yearly on-air charity fundraiser today and tomorrow. Money raised during the 13th annual event benefits the Tomorrow's Children Fund, the CJ Foundation for SIDS, and the Imus Ranch for children with cancer. Imus's show is heard locally on WHEN 620 AM.
