Dear Readers, Today, CNYRadio.com marks its 12th anniversary. Scott Jameson launched the site on March 1, 2001. Back then, the site focused exclusively on the Syracuse radio scene. Today, the site covers radio happenings in three markets, and local television news in two of those markets.

ROCHESTER -- Although it's been a slow week in CNYTVNews.com territory, there's notable news to the west: a corporate stalemate has resulted in Rochester CBS affiliate WROC-TV getting piped into cable systems in Louisville, Kentucky -- and some viewers there are having some fun with the swap.
Readers, just wanted to provide an update about some recent developments here at CNYRadio.com and CNYTVNews.com. These updates may or may not necessarily matter to you, but in the interest of full disclosure, I wanted to throw together a brief summary.
SYRACUSE -- It was exactly eleven years ago today that CNYRadio.com posted its very first story.
