Updated 6/1 at 8:15pm: SYRACUSE — After camping out at the Carousel Center all weekend long, Hot 107.9 (WWHT) morning sidekick DeafGeoff raised thousands of dollars for the 17th Annual AIDS Walk/Run to benefit AIDS Community Resources.

SYRACUSE — There are more and more online radio stations popping up across Central New York, giving listeners more avenues to hear the music of local artists, as well as other niches that would normally be too specific for traditional broadcast radio stations.

New York City-based personality Robin Marshall, who calls Syracuse’s Lite Rock 105.9 (WLTI) the flagship station for her “Jayne” show, is picking up some steam in the affiliation game.

SYRACUSE — The locally-owned “Love Radio” format is back on 105.1 (WVOA), following more than two weeks of dead air following the station’s sale and the subsequent termination of Clear Channel’s “Nova” Hot AC format.

SYRACUSE and UTICA-ROME — No, they haven’t flipped formats, and yes, they’re still playing modern rock. The new “10:00 News” at Galaxy’s KROCK stations (WKRL/WKRH/WKLL) is an hour-long showcase of new music every weeknight.

SYRACUSE and UTICA-ROME — PD/air talent Ted Bradford has exited Galaxy’s AC Sunny 102 (WZUN) in Syracuse and Hot AC Mix 102.5 (WUMX).  Station management confirmed the change this morning, following the sudden removal of Bradford’s bio from both station websites yesterday.

SYRACUSE — There have been some changes in the weekend lineup at hot AC MOViN 100.3/96.5 (WOLF-FM/WWLF-FM).  Instead of doing “mix shows” on both Friday and Saturday nights, the station has a new show called “MOViN’ Decades” on Saturday nights.

SYRACUSE — There’s new information tonight on what’s going on with that 105.1 signal that’s been off the air since the station’s sale from Aloha Stations Trust to Foxfur Communications closed on May 1st.  Co-owner Sam Furco tells CNYRadio.com 105.1 will reclaim the WVOA call letters it held for 20 years.
