SYRACUSE -- Observant CNYRadio.com readers have noticed something interesting on their TV screens: program listings for WSYR-DT's 9.2 subchannel show timeslots devoted to local hosts from Newsradio 570 WSYR... but so far, neither host has appeared on TV during their respective listed timeslots. SYRACUSE -- National recording artists Disturbed will headline K-Rock's (WKRL/WKRH/WKLL) Halloween Havoc next month at the Onondaga County War Memorial at Oncenter. K-Rock program director Nixon says tickets go on sale this Saturday.
Updated 5:30pm with a correction - UTICA-ROME -- Sean Hannity is about to get more air time in the Mohawk Valley. Newsradio 950 WIBX, which has carried Hannity's "best of" shows on Sundays, will be adding the conservative talker to its weekday lineup, starting Monday. As a result, Laura Ingraham is out and WIBX is shuffling a few other shows to new timeslots.

WATERTOWN -- Local sports-talk fans in the North Country will soon get more of their daily "fix" during the ride home from work. Matt McClusky announced today that his ESPN Radio 1410 (WNER) show, MattMc's Sports Fix, will be adding another hour next month.
SYRACUSE -- Vinny Lopez, Director of Engineering at Fox 68 (WSYT) and My43 (WNYS) has been re-elected as President for the Society of Broadcast Engineers. The new one-year term begins next month at SBE's annual membership meeting.
SYRACUSE -- One of the biggest syndicated lineup changes in Syracuse TV already took place last month, when Channel 5 (WTVH-DT) managed to snatch Live! with Regis and Kelly away from Channel 9 (WSYR-DT). But a few more changes are set to take place, specifically during the 7pm "access hour."
UTICA/ROME -- Six local country acts will be performing together in Herkimer later this month, all to raise money for a no-kill/no-cage cat shelter in Little Falls. Bug Country (WBUG/WBGK) personality Dave Silvers will serve as master of ceremonies.
ITHACA -- Saga news/talker WHCU is back on the FM dial. Well, it's already on the FM dial if you have an HD Radio receiver, but now you can listen with a regular FM radio. The station's primary coverage on 870AM is now supplemented by the return of translator W240CB at 95.9FM.
