Cashing in on holiday music

What's the best strategy for playing holiday tunes on the air? Well, for 230 radio stations across the country, it's wall-to-wall Christmas novelty songs, carols, and other holiday favorites. Syracuse's Y94FM (WYYY) is one of those stations.

Other adult contemporary stations in the market including Lite 105.9 (WLTI) and Sunny 102 (WZUN) are taking a different approach by mixing in select holiday music with their regular rotations.
