Jon Alvarez Leaves CNY Talk Radio

SYRACUSE -- CNY Talk Radio (WFBL/WMCR-AM) local midday host Jon Alvarez announced on today's broadcast that he's ending his show, effective immediately.   Starting Monday, the stations will fill the time with an extra hour of Laura Ingraham until a permanent replacement is named. WFBL Lineup Announced; Rocky Debut for Talk Format

SYRACUSE -- Satellite problems contributed to a rocky first day for the debut of CNY Talk Radio (1390 WFBL), but Leatherstocking Media Group management says the glitches are being worked out.  CNYRadio.com has also obtained the station's programming lineup, which includes names like Larry King, Phil Hendrie and Jim Bohannon.
