UTICA-ROME — After a couple weeks off due a combination of illness, lack of submissions and being overwhelmingly busy… the Picture of the Week is back! And this week, we have Kenny the Promo Guy from Kiss-FM to thank for sending in this blast from the past from his personal collection.
It’s America’s Biggest 15K Road Race, with over 10,000 runners, including Governor David A. Paterson. Nearly every radio station in the Utica-Rome market was there, so we put everyone’s name in a hat and KISS-FM came out as the station to represent the Boilermaker in this installment of the Picture of the Week.
Lots of shifting of schedules over at Utica’s KISS-FM. Grace Kruz (Amber Taylor) exits middays to make way for Stew Schantz up from afternoon duties which are now being handled by the former evening pair of Roadrunner and ‘Kenny the Promo Guy’. Late nighter Shaun Andrews moves to evenings.

Roser Communications Network has turned the simulcast into a trimulcast, with the addition of a new FM translator.
