SYRACUSE -- The Mars Hill Network, which feeds religious programming to more than 20 stations across the state from its Syracuse headquarters, is seeking financial support. The network, based at 102.9 WMHR, will be taking pledges during a three-day on-air "Careathon" next month.

SYRACUSE -- With many stations now operating in clusters, it's not too surprising to see on-air staff from sister stations at the same event. But two morning hosts... from different companies... in the same location during their regular timeslot? It's pretty rare, but it happened last week.
OSWEGO -- Just shy of three years since leaving WRVO, Tom Herbert has rejoined the NPR affiliate's underwriting sales team. Since leaving WRVO in 2009, Herbert had been working in a similar role for the Mars Hill Christian Radio Network, which is headquartered in Syracuse.
SYRACUSE -- The Mars Hill Radio Network, headquartered at WMHR in Syracuse, is bringing renowned teaching minister Alistair Begg to Central New York next week to meet with fans of the religious radio network. Begg's syndicated "Truth for Life" show airs weekdays and Saturdays on the extensive Mars Hill Network.
