SYRACUSE -- There's a new but familiar voice on the night shift at TK99 and TK105 (WTKW/WTKV). Ryno, who has been doing mornings for Galaxy Communications sister station modern rock KRock (WKRL/WKRH), is pulling double duty as TK's new night jock. He just made his debut on the classic rocker within the hour.
Citadel rocker 95X (WAQX) has once again changed its morning show. Effective today, the syndicated Opie & Anthony Show is out, and locally-programmed "Shut Up & Rock Mornings" are in. WAQX had carried the O&A show since January 2007.
95X has a new program director, and like the other rock stations in town, it's a lady that's running the show. Alexis, a 13-year veteran of the active rock station, slides into the slot left vacant by Bob O'Dell's exit in August. She also picks up the 3-7 p.m. afternoon drive on-air shift.
