GENEVA -- It was a busy weekend for NPR affiliate WEOS. The station hosted a live taping of Says You in Geneva on Friday night and a live broadcast of Whad'ya Know in Ithaca on Saturday. OSWEGO -- The Environment Report which airs weekday mornings on WRVO will be going away soon. "Due to a lack of sustainable funding," the station explains Friday, June 4 will be the final day for the daily reports. However, WRVO's newsroom says it's not completely abandoning environmental issues.
SYRACUSE -- Public broadcaster WRVO took home First Place in the "Radio Newscast" category at the Syracuse Press Club awards dinner on Saturday night.
