SYRACUSE -- Sunny 102 (WZUN) morning host "Big Mike" Fiss says he's ready for his 29th Annual Live Christmas Show Broadcast, featuring more than a dozen professional vocalists, plus live performances from more than a dozen choruses from local schools and other community organizations. The broadcast is set to take place this Friday.
SYRACUSE -- Based on how things went last year in Syracuse, we expected Clear Channel's Y94FM (WYYY) would have gone all-Christmas on about November 11th, but the station held off more than a week longer this year, making the switch late last week.
SYRACUSE and UTICA-ROME -- With Halloween 2010 just barely into the history books, two local radio stations are already looking ahead to Christmas. And based on previous years' experience (2009 | 2008) -- it's no surprise that Galaxy's Sunny 102 (WZUN/Phoenix) and Mix 102.5 (WUMX/Rome) are those first two stations to make the switch.
