ITHACA -- It's always exciting when the home team wins, even better when it's a comeback victory. But for the broadcast team from ESPN Radio 1160 (WPIE), strong winds created a bit of an annoyance during Wednesday's Class A boys lacrosse quarterfinal between West Genesee and Ithaca.
ITHACA -- Real Rock Radio 93.5 WVBR, owned by Cornell Radio Guild, Inc., is looking for some help in the sales office. OSWEGO -- The award-winning newsroom at the WRVO Stations is growing. The station welcomes "Innovation Trail" reporter Emma Jacobs, who held the same title at Binghamton's WSKG. In addition, the NPR affiliate is employing several freelance reporters to increase coverage throughout the WRVO coverage area.
ITHACA -- David Muir returned to his alma mater yesterday to share an inspirational message. Muir, a 1995 graduate of the Park School of Communications at Ithaca College, was invited to give the commencement address before more than 1,400 graduates and their guests.

"Hits Girl Katie" from Hits 103.3 (W277BS) is heading south to New York City, as the station announces the search for its next Hits Girl. ITHACA -- Former Ithaca Journal sports editor Brian Delaney has traded in print for electronic media, joining the staff at Taughannock Media's ESPN Radio 1160 (WPIE). His official title of Reporter and Account Manager includes duties co-hosting the station's afternoon talk show, Between the Lines.
