SAN FRANCISCO -- Several local radio stations may need to look for new programming, after the widely-syndicated Dr. Dean Edell announced yesterday that he's retiring from his medical advice show at the end of the year. The show has local affiliates in Syracuse, Utica-Rome and Ithaca/Cortland, among others.

Today, the NYSBA finally got around to rolling out a formal announcement good payroll management about Reilly's departure and details about the search for a replacement.
UTICA-ROME -- A little more than two years since the "God's Country" format appeared on local airwaves, the commercial-free network has disappeared from radio stations nationwide. Locally, 93.5 WOKR/Remsen has flipped to the Christian rock "Air1" network operated by Educational Media Foundation.
SYRACUSE and UTICA-ROME -- With Halloween 2010 just barely into the history books, two local radio stations are already looking ahead to Christmas.
