Regent's Newsradio 950 WIBX has just signed up with Performance Racing Network (PRN) to carry live coverage of NASCAR's Sprint Cup series. The announcement was included in an e-mail sent to the WIBX "Listener Club" this afternoon.
K-Rockathon XIII was held this past weekend at the Cayuga County Fairgrounds in Weedsport. Reporter Gavin Strube of the Auburn Citizen reported the event was sold out at 12,000+ and everything went smoothly, despite a handful of people being ejected from the premises for starting fights.

Nearly every radio station in the Utica-Rome market was there, so we put everyone's name in a hat and KISS-FM came out as the station to represent the Boilermaker in this installment of the Picture of the Week.

We now have a complete list of winners, and they include stations in all four markets we cover... for a total of 11 radio awards, and at least 2 TV awards for former radio reporters.
