WATERTOWN MARKET -- It's slim pickins when it comes to finding new pictures on radio station websites in the North Country... but it's been so long since we had a Watertown picture, we hunted and hunted (and missed our POTW deadline by nearly 4 hours) but we finally got one.
OSWEGO -- A little over three weeks ago, NPR announced the show "Day by Day" would end in March due to budget cuts, but local affiliate WRVO isn't waiting -- today was the final day for "Day by Day" on WRVO's primary lineup.

NEW YORK CITY - There are more names being tossed around as potential options for stations all over the country -- including 2 in CNYRadio.com territory -- that are in the process of finding replacements for the soon-to-be-departing-radio Bill O'Reilly.
Less than two weeks after Bill O'Reilly announced his plans to leave radio "sometime" in the first quarter of 2009, Fox News Radio is hoping his affiliates will sign up with another Fox News personality, John Gibson.
SYRACUSE - Classic FM (WCNY-FM/WUNY/WJNY) is making some programming changes that may leave jazz fans unhappy, as it moves to increase the emphasis on classical music. Hosts Leo Rayhill and Dick Carr are directly impacted by the changes.
Yesterday's announced budget cuts at NPR will result in "Day to Day" being pulled from the WRVO weekday lineup, and "News and Notes" disappearing from the WEOS weekday lineup. No replacements have been named yet.
(UPDATED 1:15PM) NEW YORK CITY - Bill O'Reilly says he's too busy to continue hosting "The Radio Factor," despite being one of the most successful shows on the air right now. That opens a 2-hour scheduling gap at hundreds of stations nationwide, including two in our area.
