SYRACUSE/UTICA -- Longtime central New York radio and TV personality Rick Gary is among six people who are to be inducted to the New York State Broadcasters' Association Hall of Fame during a ceremony next month in New York City.
ITHACA -- With the "soap opera" in Utica ending, we're reminded of a job that's been open even longer -- at Saga's News Talk 870 WHCU. Since mid-June, the station has been searching for a news anchor/reporter to replace Todd Messer, who left the area after getting married in July. APD Dave Vieser shares the posting once again:

UTICA-ROME -- He's not just the co-host of SportsWatch on WIBX; Fred Miller is also the owner of a local newspaper and website that cover local sports. And in today's edition of the Utica Observer-Dispatch, Miller discusses his love for his work, and how he became a "media jack-of-all-trades."
SYRACUSE -- Longtime market personality Ronnie Dark checks in with CNYRadio.com to report his concept for a new show, The Wax Museum, has finally become a reality. The show airs Sunday nights from 7-9pm on Love Radio 103.9 (WVOA). The programming is also simulcast on translators 95.3 in Syracuse and 98.1 in LaFayette.
