VERONA -- Longtime Onondaga Community College radio instructor and local sports radio broadcaster Vince "Vinny" Spadafora has died at the age of 65.  His death is the result of a one-car rollover accident on Friday night.

Former Syracuse TV and radio reporter Tony Gaskins dead at 56

CLEVELAND, OH -- Tony Gaskins, who worked in Syracuse at channel 9 and WSYR radio throughout most of the 1980s, has died.  Family members say Gaskins passed following an apparent heart attack on Tuesday.  The Emmy-award winning reporter, known for his deep voice and unique sign-off, was 56 years old.

Longtime WHCU personality Don Martin dies at 88

ITHACA -- Longtime WHCU talk radio host and former GM Don Martin died on Monday near Seattle, WA.  He was 88 years old.  An Air Force veteran who served during World War II, Martin joined the station in 1947.  He retired in 1979, but continued hosting his "Column Comment" feature for many years afterward.
