SYRACUSE -- Basketball expert Seth Davis of Sports Illustrated and CBS Sports thinks 13-seed Montana will upset 4-seed Syracuse in the first round of the NCAA men's basketball tournament. Local morning radio hosts Gomez and Dave are hoping Davis is wrong -- they'll be "out in the cold," so to speak, if Syracuse loses tonight.
UTICA-ROME -- Less than three months after her retirement from Galaxy Communications, Mimi Griswold is returning to local radio, six days a week. The former VP of Programming for Galaxy is returning to host afternoons on 96.9 WOUR.

SYRACUSE -- "Big Mike" Fiss has a new but familiar co-host on the morning show at Sunny 102.1 (WZUN) this week. "After doing a great job for four years," Fiss says Melissa Midgley "decided to leave" the station. Fiss says WZUN weekend personality Cindy Humble is now serving as co-host.
SYRACUSE -- The show that prefers to call itself "The Show" wasn't allowed to be "The Show" for the past 90 days. But today, the expiration of a legal injunction allowed the morning crew at K-Rock (WKRL/WKRH/WKLL) to regain its identity as "The Show."
