SYRACUSE -- Radio versus TV... who will win? You can see for yourself tonight when local broadcasting personalities from CNYCentral (WSTM/WTVH) television take on colleagues from Galaxy Communications radio. They'll be playing basketball to raise money for Golisano Children's Hospital and for a local school teacher who's battling Lou Gehrig's Disease.
Your editor is just back from a week of much-needed vacation. While we had a few advance stories "in the can" to auto-publish during the week off, there are several items we missed while away. This afternoon, we finally catch-up on some of those events we missed while we were out.
SYRACUSE -- According to the Syracuse Press Club, the 10pm newscast on CW6 (WSTQ-LP) will expand from 30 minutes to a full hour starting tonight. SPC says Lisa Spitz will join Matt Mulcahy as producer and co-anchor.
