ESPN Radio and WSYR-TV Partner for Daily Simulcast

SYRACUSE -- The rumors have been swirling ever since NewsChannel 9's Steve Infanti joined the cast of ESPN Radio's weekday afternoon talk show back in August... and now those rumors are confirmed. Starting Monday, Upon Further Review will be simulcast on television. Fans will be able to listen on the radio, or watch on digital channel 9.2.

Clear Channel Changes Result in Syracuse Promotions

SYRACUSE -- Clear Channel has announced management structure changes for dozens of markets across the country.  According to Radio-Info.com, those changes have Syracuse GM Joel Delmonico becoming the "Regional Market Manager" for Syracuse and Binghamton, while Syracuse OM Rich Lauber is now "Regional Programming Manager" for both markets.  Clear Channel owns six stations in each market.

WCNY Gets $6.6M to Run Master Control for All New York PBS Stations

SYRACUSE -- The Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) has awarded more than $6.6 million to help execute a previously-announced plan to consolidate master control operations for every PBS affiliate in the state inside the future home of local PBS affiliate WCNY on Syracuse's Near Westside.  The new facility is already under construction.

TV's Betty Rollin to Speak in Cazenovia

Former Utica Talk Host Headed to Jail for Stealing $60K

Updated 10:35pm UTICA/ROME -- Oneida County Independence Party chairman and former radio host John Dote has reportedly pleaded guilty on charges that he stole nearly $60,000 in political donations to pay for personal expenses.  As punishment, he'll reportedly spend six months in jail and he'll be forced to give up his involvement with politics.
