SYRACUSE -- The annual "Great TV Auction," more commonly known as TelAuc, returns to WCNY one week from tonight. During a total of eight nights over two weekends, viewers will have the chance to score some big bargains, with proceeds from winning bids benefiting the PBS affiliate's continued operation.
SYRACUSE -- One of the biggest, most prominent fundraisers for public broadcaster WCNY was notably absent in April. TelAuc, the station's annual televised auction, usually happens during April. Fans may have noticed this year, April came and went... no TelAuc. But fans need not worry: the station simply decided to postpone the auction until June.
