UTICA -- After six weeks in a row of Pictures of the Week from Syracuse, we didn't want our friends in the Mohawk Valley to think we'd forgotten them. This week, a double-feature from two of Utica's newest television stations.
UTICA -- Just a little over six months since Nexstar Broadcasting revived the local news operation at ABC affiliate WUTR and Fox afffiliate WFXV (in high-definition, no less), primary co-anchor Caroline Gable has exited the station. CNYTVNews.com readers alerted us to the change, and News Director Joe Parker confirms.
NEW YORK CITY -- Jeff Rossen, former reporter for ABC affiliates in Utica (WUTR) and Syracuse (WSYR-TV, though it was WIXT then), has been named "National Investigative Correspondent" for NBC's Today show. Rossen will also be producing investigative pieces for NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams and Dateline.
