Updated 6/22 -- SYRACUSE and UTICA-ROME -- After a ten-year affiliation with The Score 1260 (WSKO) in Syracuse and one season with WUTQ in Utica, the Buffalo Bills will have new affiliates in both markets this coming season. Galaxy Communications has inked a deal to carry the games on TK99/105 (WTKV/WTKW) in Syracuse and Oswego, and on 96.9 WOUR in Utica.

Five stations in Syracuse, two in Utica and one in Ithaca are winners at the New York State Broadcasters Association's 46th annual "Excellence in Broadcasting Awards."
UTICA-ROME -- Who are the hottest TV news personalities in the Mohawk Valley? Two radio stations are asking listeners to cast their votes online. Classic hits Oldiez 96.1 (WODZ) is tallying votes for the hottest female on the small screen, while the website of AC Lite 98.7 (WLZW) is taking votes on Utica's hottest TV news guys.
ITHACA/CORTLAND -- All eight of Saga's radio stations in Ithaca, marketed locally as the Cayuga Radio Group, can currently be streamed online. But by the end of next month, it appears those streams will be gone, according to reports from some national radio trade publications.
SYRACUSE -- This may very well qualify as the all-time "oldest" Picture of the Week yet. We're going back more than 70 years in Syracuse radio history, with scans from a few pages from a "WFBL Cook Book of the Stars," published in 1941. Updated 6/14 with additional information -- OSWEGO -- It's a classic example of climbing the professional ladder: Fred Vigeant started with WRVO in 2000 as an undergrad at SUNY Oswego. Over the next 12 years, he'd progress from being a producer to Operations Director, and eventually to Program Director in 2006. Next week, Vigeant will bid WRVO farewell as he moves south along I-81 to work for another NPR affiliate.
ITHACA/CORTLAND -- For some, it might seem like football season just ended, but there's less than two months until preseason NFL action begins, and there's a new place to catch football on the radio in Ithaca. Progressive Talk AM 1470 WNYY says it has signed with the Buffalo Bills Radio Network for the 2012 season.
UTICA-ROME -- Townsquare Media's four-station cluster is looking to hire someone to serve as the "point person for all aspects of Townsquare Media’s live events business" in the market. The "Live Events Manager" position includes all aspects of planning concerts, trade shows, expos and other events.
