SYRACUSE -- There's good news for fans of Celtic rock: the producers of The Irish Power Hour say they've renewed their contract to keep the Sunday night show running on 105.9 The Big Talker (WXTL) for at least another year. Co-host Cabrina Gilbert tells CNYRadio.com she's "excited and yet a 'lil scared" about the renewal.

LAS VEGAS -- Citadel Broadcasting, the owner of more than 200 radio stations including four in Syracuse, has emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. According to one published report, Citadel Chairman and CEO Farid Suleman said, "we're glad it's over and we can get on with running the company."
SYRACUSE -- A little over two years (and four days, to be exact) after it was announced Citadel named Dan Austin as GM of the company's four-station Syracuse cluster, Austin is on the move once again. This time, he's headed to market #13: Seattle-Tacoma, Washington.
