Notice of the approval, granted this past Monday, was released to the public today. The $150,000 deal was announced last month, with Taughannock controlling the station through a JSA with Pembrook Pines since then.

ALBANY -- Even though Clear Channel news/talker WGY 810 is located well outside of the CNYRadio.com coverage area, the station's 50,000-watt signal easily reaches much of the Utica-Rome market -- where CNYRadio.com readers are reporting the station has added a new FM simulcast.
Good news for two former local radio personalities -- within the past week, both Rick "RJ" Jordan and Sonny King have found new "big" jobs on the radio. But fans will have to make an effort to hear either one, as both jobs are outside of CNYRadio.com territory.

Owner Bud Williamson told CNYRadio.com late this evening that "1150 will be programmed by Leatherstocking [Media Group] starting tomorrow." We presume WUTI will carry the same "CNY Talk Radio" lineup as Leatherstocking stations WFBL/Syracuse and WMCR(AM)/Oneida.
